Spring Fever In The Garden

This weekend, Saturday May 8th, Tom MacCubbin and I will be speaking at "Spring Fever in the Garden" festival in Winter Garden. Between 10,000 and 15,000 people expected to take part in buying plants, "Ask the Expert", gardening vendors,kiddie games and learning how to enjoy a wonderful Saturday in the spring.   1. Update: The plant vendors at the Festival were outstanding! I got to rub elbows with Jerry Carris and Mark Nelson. Such beautiful specimens as bougainvillea, roses, tropicals, bamboo, camellias, grasses, orchids, tillandsias, and so much more. Did I get away from Spring Fever without buying any plants? Heck, no. I had to bring home some hard-to-find mints, Chocolate and Corsican mint (Mentha requienii) , and English Wedgewood Thyme, (Thymus vulgaris, "Wedgewood") I'm happy.
